Stir fried squid
Preparation
Bring a litre of water to the boil. Pour the boiling water over the bean sprouts and drain.
Finely chop the red chilli and remove the seeds. Peel and chop the onion.
Heat the oil in a wok. Fry the onion and pepper over a low heat until the oil becomes fragrant. Add the squid and fry 3 to 4 minutes until cooked.
Pour the sauce over the squid and heat all the ingredients through. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Finally, stir through the bean sprouts.
Delicious with MeiAsia jasmine rice or MeiAsia rice sticks and green salad.
