Shigenu’s typical Japanese wok sauce is also such a great combination of basic ingredients of the Japanese cuisine: soy sauce and mirin rice wine. A touch of caramel makes it typical of Shigenu. Like all Japanese dishes it tastes good with chicken, spring onions, (Japanese) mushrooms and white rice.
