Sambal Oelek (for cooking) (Meiasia)

 
In Indonesia the different kinds of Sambal got a separate name to be able to tell them apart.
Yolla explained to us that Oelek is the name of the pestle, which is used to crush the red chilli pepper, garlic and other ingredients to one hot chilli paste, called Sambal. 
Sambal Oelek is in Indonesia used for cooking, to spice up the dishes which are not yet hot enough, according to the cook.
