Sweet chilli sauce is not as sweet as the name leads one to suspect – the sauce still contains a lot of chilli peppers. Vilai prepares her favourite sweet chilli sauce on her own using a mix of chilli peppers, garlic, vinegar and sugar. The sauce looks very fresh and exotic by keeping the seeds. Sweet chilli sauce is usually served with spring rolls, fried chicken and seafood but is also surprising tasty with shrimp crackers, French fries and all kinds of snacks.
